Ski Touring Weekend Stryn
Short summit hike with a long descent. Does that sound enticing? One of the days, we’ll take the Loen Skylift up to Hoven as a starting point for a ski trip. On the other days, we’ll explore the area on skis on our own.
We are staying at Visnes Hotel, a beautiful place with a lot of history and soul. The hotel’s restaurant serves locally sourced Norwegian food from local suppliers.
Program
We gather on Thursday evening for a pleasant dinner, where you will meet the guide and the rest of the group. This is followed by three days of skiing in beautiful surroundings. Sunday’s trip is a bit shorter so that you have time to make your journey home.
Practical Information
- All meals are included.
- The tours are adapted to the group’s experience and preferences, with daily climbs of 800–1000 meters.
- We aim for carpooling to the destination and between day trips.
- We offer rental of ski touring equipment if you need it.
Guides with High Competence
Breogfjell is one of the companies in Norway that sets the highest standards for certification, experience, and local knowledge. For alpine ski and summit tours, we only use internationally certified mountain guides (UIAGM/IFMGA) and mountain guide trainees/aspirants who have solid experience over several years with demanding ski, climbing, and glacier tours.
Tours Based on Ability
It is important to us that you, your friends, family, or colleagues have a great experience in the mountains. “Tours based on ability” is a concept we have used in Norwegian outdoor life for years and is central to our trip planning. We adapt to your desires and skills, as well as the mountain conditions, such as weather, snow conditions, avalanche risk, and more.
